I've finally put my concrete mixer bucket to work! I've had this mixer bucket for around a year, but after repairing the hydraulics and getting everything working properly, it's time to see what it can actually do.In this video we're using a hydraulic concrete mixer bucket to mix and pour C35 concrete for another section of the yard. We weigh out the ballast and cement, load the materials into the mixer bucket, add water and produce fresh concrete directly on site. The big question is: is a concrete mixer bucket actually quicker and easier than using a traditional concrete mixer? We put it through its paces and see how quickly we can mix concrete, including trying two bucket loads at once. The mixer bucket uses an auger to mix the concrete before opening the hydraulic discharge at the bottom and pouring the finished concrete exactly where we need it.I'll also show the work I did to get the mixer bucket working, including the hydraulic pipework, wiring and solenoid valve that controls the auger and discharge. This is the sort of plant machinery and construction equipment that can be incredibly useful when you're working on your own jobs. Instead of waiting for a concrete wagon, you've got the ability to make concrete on demand when and where you need it.We've got plenty more construction, groundwork, plant machinery, machinery repairs, concrete work, yard improvements and building projects coming up on the channel. If you're interested in excavators, loaders, concrete mixer buckets, hydraulic attachments, construction machinery, groundwork and DIY building projects, make sure you subscribe.SUBSCRIBE AND HELP US GET TO 100,000 SUBSCRIBERS!Thanks for watching and I'll see you in the next one.#ConcreteMixerBucket #Concrete #Construction #PlantMachinery #C35Concrete #Groundwork #Excavator #ConstructionMachinery #HydraulicAttachments #ConcreteMixing 20:33

Last Day at Ironbridge! The Restoration Project Is Finished

We thought we knew what we were getting into with this church tower restoration…We were wrong. What started as a leadwork renewal quickly turned into a much bigger job when we opened up the roof and found extensive rotten timber, collapsed boarding, failed drainage and some seriously old workmanship hiding underneath. And then we found something even better…1904.Names and dates had been written into the original timber, giving us a little glimpse into the people who worked on this tower more than a century ago.In this video we take you through the restoration from the first rotten bay through to the completed roof and gutters. We replace the failed timber and boarding, rebuild the roof structure, form and install the new lead bays, improve the drainage falls, renew the outlets and flashings, and finish everything off ready for another generation. There were plenty of surprises along the way — including some timber that was basically nothing but mulch! The finished result looks absolutely brilliant. If you enjoy traditional roofing, leadwork, historic building restoration and seeing old buildings brought back to life, make sure you subscribe. And let us know in the comments:Would you have left the 1904 markings visible?#RoofRestoration #Leadwork #ChurchRestoration 51:24

This van came in because the air con wasn't working.Simple enough, right?Except the condenser was absolutely destroyed, the replacement pipe was discontinued, the first one we found from a scrapyard was damaged in exactly the same place, and eventually we had to get one shipped over from France. Then, while we had the front end apart, we found a failed ball joint, a knackered drop link and brakes covered in grease. And the best bit? This van needs to be back on the road for Monday. So we've got to get stuck into it.Let's get this thing fixed.#VanRepair #Mechanic #AutoRepair #CarRepair #DieselVan #Workshop #GarageLife #VanLife #Automotive #DIYMechanic 43:17
