What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced Plasterer to join our rapidly expanding team to work within a busy environment. You will be working on some of the UK’s oldest buildings as part of a team of Restoration operatives. You will be responsible for carrying out the following:
  • Plastering & Rendering with lime based mortars
  • Maintenance & repairs to existing renders
  • Resecuring original ceiling and wall plaster
  • Patch repairs to original ceiling and wall plaster
  • Analysis of the original plaster
  • Replacements & refurbishment work
  • Providing assistance to other areas of restoration work
What you need to have:
  • Previous experience as a plasterer
  • A relevant trade qualification or extensive “on the job” experience
  • Experience working with lime products an advantage
  • Experience working with Lathe and plaster structures an advantage
  • Experience working with plaster mouldings an advantage
  • Previous Experience in the Heritage sector an advantage
  • Other trade skills would be of an advantage
  • A proven track record
  • The ability to work from own initiative or as part as a team
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to manage workload and have work completed on time
  • Excellent awareness of site health and safety
  • CSCS card preferable
  • Full UK Driving license (MUST be able to make own way to our remote yard on a daily basis)
