For most of 2021, we worked on a project in Nunwick, near Ripon, North Yorkshire. A barn had developed a serious lean and was in serious danger of collapse. We went in and completely stripped it down to the rotten foundations, strengthed them and straightened out the building. We gave it new slates, a brand new roof, and new walls. It got a new lease of life and we are very proud of our work. You can see a full playlist of our works at Nunwick on our YouTube channel.

This project has earned an award nomination from the good people at SPAB – the Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings. We’re up for the “Best Loved” Award, which is split between private and public buildings, and we’re up against 3 others.

VOTE FOR NUNWICK BARN HERE!

Voting is open to the public and closes on October 31st and we would love to be scooping up that award on November 3rd. Vote for Nunwick Barn in the Best Loved – Private Building award and help us pick up some silverware!
